* CHINESE NEW YEAR *


A week after reunion dinner, my family went to my grandparents' house for visiting.... My frens kept asking me, "u celebrate CNY eh?" and i'll go, "ya... kind of"... haha.. If u consider it celebrating by going to grandparents house to makan2 then ya, i celebrate, haha... No doubt I'm malay, I'm also half chinese... so like duh! ofcoz i hav to visit my chinese relatives.... So stop asking me this already! Aniway where was i?? Oh yes....


At my granny's house, it's been a tradition for us to go vegetarian n the first day of new yr... so yes, there's NO pork and nothing to be Halal-ed. Basically every CNY, this is wat happens there - we arrive, we eat, wait for the rest to arrive, play 21 blackjack while others play mahjong, eat dessert n watch TV... & not forgetting collecting 'ang-pows' before going home :D Very simple rite the 'celebration'? yup, simple n sweet... How much 'ang-pow' I collected?? its a secret...hehehe :P
