[ OUR ENGAGEMENT ]



Finally after a little over 9 months we got enageged. It was definitely the first time for both of us, and I still can't believe that it actually happened. I was stressing out actually during the last week before the day. Was searching high n low for things, almost couldn't get my baju for that day, good caterer was hard to get and spent quite alot on everything. But i'm glad all came together in the end and went smoothly, thank God :)
I woke up at bout 9am and went to get my hair done with my sis. By the time we got back home, my relatives have arrived. My mum made breakfast for them as they came early to help with the decorations of the "dulangs". Each family contributed sumthing to each "dulang". there are a total of 8 trays. Since i'm the first grandchild to get engaged, its a kind gesture for them to contribute. I'm lucky for that... hehehe...

While all were busy, i went to my air-conditioned room to get my make-up done. I was pretty nervous ofcoz... in between that, i was running here n there trying to help out with some of the things. My aunt was already screaming saying that i shouldnt be worrying and let them settle. Oh well... bout 4pm i received my sayang's call, saying he's already out n on the way to my place. So everyone standby and you can imagine how much more nervous i was! I was told that i cant come out at all during the whole thing. Only he gets to come in my room to put the ring on my finger. Damn its gonna be boring.

My sis was busy taking pictures with me and we were juz having fun making funny faces, hurhur... Then my aunt came into my room and said they were here! Damn nervous okay!!

My haert was thumping as i anticipated him to enter my room, there he was putting the ring for me... It felt so surreal to me. I was kinda shaking at that time. Could feel myself blushing! heheh.. Still notice that he did not dare look me in the eye, instead he looked around my room, looked at the floor or the ceiling... heheh, so cute...

Then it was my turn to put the necklace chain around his neck. I was so shaky i couldn't get it hooked. It took bout afew minutes for me to wear it for him... ahem... So we took afew pictures again and went out to say some Doa and makan2. i did peep afew time out from my door. I juz can not stay in my room the whole time. BORING and ALONE!!!

We exhanged the dulangs and soon enough they were taking their leave. Only then did i go out and bid them gdbye. Then it was my side of the family to eat :D we chat for quite awhile til bout 8pm. My uncles were telling me the "rules n regulations" for post-engagement life.. hahaha, and my aunts were giving advises bout relationships and commitments. Its really a pity that my 2 closest cousin whom we grew up together, with their brothers, could not make it that day. But its ok, they've promise to attend the wedding :D

Since its his bday too, we went out ltr that nite. We planned to watch Iron Man but we were both too tired, so we juz spend the time together. Next day i was dragging to go to work :(
It's the happiest time of my life for now!!
