-- FAREWELL --


Two of my colleagues tendered their resignation early last month. Wendy has been here for almost 2 yrs whereas Joyce joined us about 6 mnths ago. Its sad to have them leave, but at the same time we're happy for them to pursue a better future. Pei Wen and me missed Wendy's farewell lunch at Shine's Cafe, coz we're at Commonwealth. But we managed to go back to DHL together on the same day for Joyce's farewell. Though it was a little though for the both of us to go back on the same day, we managed in the end :) Lunch that day was at Harry's Bar at the Signature building. Most of us odered the set lunch, which has a choice of Curry or Spinach spagetti. Not a fan of veggies, Rita ordered Lasagne instead. While waiting for our food to be served, Rita and Kaori had a game of pool. Food was ok, quite unusual but still ok. Dessert was chocolate mousse!! But i couldnt finish it as i was too full from the main course. Then Rita and me played pool while the rest were still at it with their desserts. Man its been a long time i played pool and i must say i'm getting damn rusty already!!! Hurhur... So that's about it for Joyce farewell... All the best to you Joyce!!
